MCP Monday: Your Agents Can Now Find the Account, Read the Room, and Know What to Say

Table of Contents

Every Monday, we pull back the curtain on what’s shipping in Workato Enterprise MCP.

This Week: Find the account. Read the room. Know what to say.

Seven new pre-built MCP servers: ZoomInfo B2B Intelligence, Highspot, Microsoft Teams Conversations, Outlook Contacts, Notion Pages, Notion Databases, and Discord. That brings the catalog to 38 production-ready servers — and closes meaningful gaps across sales intelligence, Microsoft 365, knowledge management, and community.

What’s New

ZoomInfo B2B Intelligence — 12 tools

Access the full ZoomInfo GTM intelligence platform from any AI agent. Search companies and contacts, enrich records with full profile data, discover accounts showing active buying intent, pull company news and proprietary scoops, map corporate hierarchies, retrieve org charts for buying committee research, and check installed technology stacks. Search is free; enrichment draws from your ZoomInfo credit balance with visibility before each call.

Highspot — 7 tools

Give AI agents access to your sales enablement content. Search for battle cards, case studies, and decks in natural language. Browse structured sales plays — the talk tracks, recommended content, and step-by-step guidance your team has built — without needing to know Highspot’s internal data model. Ask questions and get answers sourced directly from your content library. See which pitches your prospects have viewed and for how long.

Microsoft Teams Conversations — 7 tools

Search, retrieve, and participate in Teams conversations. Find discussions about customers, projects, or decisions across channels and chats. Read message history and thread context. Post messages and replies — both require your explicit approval before execution.

Outlook Contacts — 13 tools

Manage your personal Outlook address book through any AI agent. Search and retrieve contacts, create and update records, organize into folders, apply category labels, and move contacts between lists. Covers the full contact lifecycle — including deduplication workflows and shared folder access. Personal contacts only; this server does not touch your organization’s Active Directory.

Notion Pages — 10 tools

Read, create, and update Notion pages. Find specific sections before editing. Append content without replacing what’s already there. Manage page-level comments and locate every @mention in a document. Text updates are plain string — the server handles Notion’s block format internally so the agent never needs to know it.

Notion Databases — 7 tools

Query, create, update, and archive records in Notion databases. The server reads your database structure before acting, so it maps intent to the right fields automatically. Archived records stay accessible — nothing is permanently deleted through an agent. Designed to pair with Notion Pages: structured data operations in one server, page content in the other.

Discord — 14 tools

Post and reply to messages, create and manage threads, search recent message history, pin content, and take moderation actions including member timeouts. Covers the community management workflows — channel navigation, thread operations, pinning, moderation — without requiring your team to understand Discord’s raw API surface.

Why This Matters

Sales reps have a timing problem. They know which accounts to prioritize — the ones with active buying signals, recent funding news, a new VP of Sales who just replaced the old one. ZoomInfo has that information. Highspot has the playbook for exactly what to say when you find them. But until this week, getting either of those into an agent workflow required a developer, an API credential that most reps don’t have, and enough knowledge of each platform’s data model to ask the right questions. Most teams just lived with the gap.

ZoomInfo’s native MCP covers search and enrichment. Our server goes further: intent discovery across the full ZoomInfo database, per-account intent signals with topic filters and spike indicators, proprietary scoops, corporate hierarchy mapping, org charts for buying committee research, and installed technographics. These are the workflows that actually move pipeline — and they weren’t in ZoomInfo’s own server. Highspot closes the other half of the same gap: a rep whose agent can find the right account, pull their intent signals, and surface the exact battle card and sales play for that moment is operating at a different level than one who’s doing those steps manually across three tabs.

The Microsoft 365 story this week is about completeness. We already had Outlook Email, Outlook Calendar, and Excel. Outlook Contacts adds the personal address book layer — the relationship context that ties together every communication workflow. Microsoft Teams Conversations adds the institutional memory layer: the decisions made in channels, the context buried in threads, the discussions that never made it to a document. With four M365 servers now live, agents can see the full picture of how people communicate, coordinate, and manage relationships inside a Microsoft-centric organization — not just one slice of it.

Notion runs the knowledge layer for a significant portion of engineering, product, and ops teams. The split into two servers — Pages and Databases — is intentional. Pages handles written content: documents, meeting notes, specs, wikis. Databases handle structured records: project trackers, roadmaps, CRMs, content calendars. Keeping them separate means an agent always knows exactly what kind of operation it’s performing. Notion’s API doesn’t draw that line. We did.

Real-World Use Cases

ZoomInfo B2B Intelligence — for SDRs and AEs

  • “Find SaaS companies with 500–2000 employees that are showing strong intent for ‘integration automation’ right now. Show me the top 10.”
  • “Enrich Acme Corp — full company profile, recent news, any scoops from the last 90 days, and who reports to the CIO.”
  • “Pull the org chart for Acme. Show me who’s in the IT leadership team and their reporting structure.”
  • “Check my ZoomInfo credit balance before I run a batch enrichment on these 50 contacts.”

The ZoomInfo server runs as a shared service account using your organization’s ZoomInfo credentials. What the agent can access depends on your ZoomInfo subscription tier. Three tools — corporate hierarchy, org charts, and technographics — require an Advanced+ ZoomInfo plan. Search and basic enrichment are available on all plans.

Highspot — for AEs and SDRs

  • “Find the competitive battle card for Boomi. What’s our positioning for an iPaaS displacement deal?”
  • “What play should I run for a CFO-led evaluation at a financial services company? Show me the talk track.”
  • “Has my prospect viewed the proposal I sent last week? How long did they spend on it?”
  • “What’s our official SLA for enterprise customers? Check the content library.”

Highspot’s REST API does not support creating pitches programmatically — list_my_pitches retrieves existing pitches, but new pitches must be created in the Highspot interface. For user-specific pitch engagement data, impersonation must be enabled in your Highspot instance.

Microsoft Teams Conversations — for anyone catching up or following up

  • “Search Teams for every conversation about the Acme renewal in the last 60 days. Summarize the key decisions and open questions.”
  • “What did the #engineering-incidents channel discuss last week? Give me the highlights.”
  • “Post a message to #account-management summarizing the key points from the Acme QBR. Show me what you’ll post before it goes.”

All write actions — posting messages and replies — require your explicit approval before execution. Message search uses Microsoft’s beta Graph API, which means results may not be exhaustive and ranking can vary. Chat replies are not supported; thread replies are available in channels only.

Outlook Contacts — for anyone managing relationships

  • “Save James Chen from Acme Corp as a contact. He’s the CFO. His direct line is 415-555-0192.”
  • “Find everyone I have saved under Acme Corp and show me their details.”
  • “Tag my top 5 prospects as ‘CFO Prospect’ in Outlook.”
  • “I have duplicate entries for Maria Santos. Show me both records so I can decide which to keep.”

Outlook Contacts covers your personal address book — the contacts you’ve saved in your own Outlook. It does not access your organization’s Active Directory or Microsoft 365 directory. Deleting a contact folder permanently removes all contacts inside it; the server surfaces the exact count and waits for your confirmation before proceeding.

Notion Pages — for PMs, writers, and ops teams

  • “Find the section on API authentication in the onboarding doc and update it with the new endpoint.”
  • “Add a summary paragraph at the end of the Q2 retrospective page.”
  • “What comments are open on the product spec? Who left them?”
  • “Find all @mentions of Manoj in the product roadmap doc.”

Text updates are plain string only — the server handles Notion’s block format internally. Existing rich formatting (bold, colors, mentions) is not preserved when a block is updated. Version history is not accessible through this server.

Notion Databases — for PMs and ops teams

  • “Show me all feature requests in the backlog database with status ‘Under Review’, sorted by priority.”
  • “Create three items in the Q3 roadmap database: feature name, owner, and target quarter for each.”
  • “Archive everything in the Feature Requests database marked as ‘Won’t Do’ this quarter.”

The server reads your database structure before performing any operation, so it understands your field names and types automatically. It cannot create new databases or modify existing schemas — production data structures are protected. Archived items remain accessible by their ID and can be restored.

Discord — for community teams and developer relations

  • “Search the #product-feedback channel for everything mentioned about the onboarding flow in the last 30 days.”
  • “Create a thread in #announcements for the v2.1 release discussion.”
  • “Pin the announcement we just posted to #general.”
  • “Show me the pinned messages in #resources.”

Discord authentication uses a bot token, not individual user OAuth. Actions taken through the server are attributed to the bot account. Moderation actions — including member timeouts — are logged in Discord’s audit log.

What Makes These Enterprise Ready

Across these seven servers, a few patterns are worth naming explicitly.

  • Verified User Access: For the Microsoft 365 servers — Teams Conversations and Outlook Contacts — all tool calls execute under your authenticated Microsoft 365 identity. Messages post as you. Contacts are yours. Actions are attributed to the person, not a shared application credential.
  • Confirmation before write: Microsoft Teams Conversations requires your explicit approval before any message or reply is posted. You see the content and the destination before anything executes.
  • Permission inheritance: Agents can only access and modify content their authenticated role grants them. Workato doesn’t elevate permissions or expose content the user can’t access in the underlying system.
  • Draft-first pattern: Notion Pages and Notion Databases never permanently delete. Pages are archived, not removed. Database records are archived, not dropped. Destructive operations surface their consequences and wait for confirmation.
  • Managed infrastructure: Workato hosts, scales, and maintains all 38 servers. No API versions to track, no rate limits to manage, no infrastructure to provision.
  • Audit trails: Every tool call logged — who, what, when, and what was returned.
